UK Expands British Business Bank Financial Capacity by £5 Billion

On 28 October 2026, the UK government confirmed an additional £5 billion in financial capacity for the British Business Bank, taking its total capacity to £30.6 billion. The expansion will support business investment, commercial equity and innovative companies.
